I am an expe­ri­en­ced brand stra­te­gist, solu­ti­on pro­vi­der, digi­tal nati­ve, tri­ath­le­te and cof­fee lover.

Cur­r­ent­ly living and working in Kiel, Ger­ma­ny I am part of the manage­ment team of a publicly spon­so­red pro­ject in the field of sus­tainab­le urban mobi­li­ty hel­ping to design new ways of inte­gra­ted mobi­li­ty ser­vices that influ­ence the mobi­li­ty beha­vi­or in such a way that is made more cli­ma­te-friend­ly and CO2 is saved.

Expertise and Research Interests

I con­si­der mys­elf being a cata­lyst for brands and mana­gers. I help them set the visi­on for their brands and part­ner with them on what and how to deli­ver enga­ging brand expe­ri­en­ces. I take a lead role when brands are loo­king to for­mal­ly crea­te a brand, ser­vice or pro­duct expe­ri­ence stra­te­gy, plan and mea­su­re­ment framework.

As it’s an incre­a­singly cri­ti­cal and also inte­gral part of every busi­ness‘ stra­te­gy, it’s always exci­ting to work in this area.

I worked for several years in dif­fe­rent posi­ti­ons inclu­ding digi­tal mar­ke­ting and brand manage­ment. The­re­fo­re, I have a strong exper­ti­se in rese­arch and stra­te­gy inclu­ding skills like user rese­arch, cus­to­mer expe­ri­ence ana­ly­sis as well as in mar­ke­ting stra­te­gy, brand stra­te­gy, digi­tal strategy.


Teaching @UAS Kiel

Working as a free­lan­ce lec­tu­rer at the Uni­ver­si­ty of App­lied Sci­en­ces Kiel I main­ly teach clas­ses on bache­lors degree level (part­ly mas­ters degree level) on various topics in Mar­ke­ting inclu­ding Princi­ples of Mar­ke­ting, Digi­tal Mar­ke­ting or Social Media Mar­ke­ting & Manage­ment. In my cour­ses I try to con­vey a healt­hy mix of theo­ry and prac­ti­ce so that at the end of the cour­se the­re is both a beha­vio­ral under­stan­ding of social media, but at the same time the stu­dents can also use tools such as Face­book Busi­ness Manager.

By the way, in 2015 I star­ted a PhD pro­gram with a focus on topics rela­ted to co-crea­ti­on in the fiel­ds of con­su­mer beha­vi­or and psy­cho­lo­gy at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Twen­te. After more than a year, I gave up sci­ence becau­se the prac­ti­cal app­li­ca­ti­on inte­res­ted me more. Nevertheless, I always try to inclu­de my sci­en­ti­fic know­ledge into pro­jects whenever it’s appropriate.
